Applied Behavior Analysis
Lighthouse focuses on informed, compassionate interventions and strategies that facilitate an individual’s independence. Lighthouse prioritizes personal autonomy and self-advocacy by targeting skill acquisition in functional communication, emotional regulation, and adaptive skills.
Lighthouse specializes in implementing ABA in school environments. However, Lighthouse may extend services to additional environments.
Special Education Consulting
Lighthouse is passionate about equipping special education staff members (teachers and paraprofessionals) with the skills and confidence to manage their classrooms and caseloads effectively.
Lighthouse offers training to all members of an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team, including parents.
Assessment
Lighthouse offers formal assessments of language and social skill behaviors, complete with a summary report and recommendations.
Lighthouse also provides training in the interpretation of assessment results to improve discernment in the selection of goals.
